Every chapter gets its own page
Field & Form's twelve-page brochure, page after page, and under each chapter the page of the site it became. The contents page became the menu.

People can read it on a phone
A PDF on a phone is an A4 page shrunk to the screen, so reading it means pinching in and dragging sideways. A website has no fixed page size, and the words fit the screen the moment it opens.
Spaces that get better with use.
Homes, civic rooms and renovations designed around the people who use them every day.

Marsh House
A courtyard brings daylight deep into a compact family home.

The Reading Room
A closed shop becomes a library, workshop and shared table.
A CV or a menu works the same way
Ari's two-page CV became a portfolio with the case studies up front and the CV to download. Juniper's one-page autumn menu became a site with tonight's dishes, the hours and the way to the harbour.
I make complex tools feel clear.
I work with expert teams to turn dense workflows into software people can trust on a busy day.

Selected work

Clinical software
Planning care without the spreadsheet
Research, service mapping and one shared workspace for eighteen teams.

Design systems
One product language
A system that cut repeated decisions and steadied every release.
An autumn table by the coast.
Dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, with a short menu that follows what arrives that week.

Before you come

Tonight
What is on the menu
Current dishes, prices and allergy notes, readable on a phone.

Questions people ask first
Yes. Drop the PDF into the box at the top of this page, or paste a public link to it or the text inside it. Macaly builds a website from that content, with a page for each chapter, a menu and a layout that fits a phone, and you keep editing the project in the chat.
That is the usual case. Drop the file into the box above and your browser reads the text out of it; nothing is uploaded until you sign in. Then the file comes along too, so the agent has its pictures. A file over 1.5 MB stays behind, and you can attach it in the chat.
A scan is a photo of each page, so the file has no text to read, and the box tells you so instead of starting an empty project. Paste or type the words you want on the site, then attach the scan in the chat so the agent can use its pictures.
It keeps the content and the feel. Columns and small print are made for paper, so the agent lays the pages out again for a screen. If you want the fonts, the colours or a spread carried over, say so in the chat.
Yes, for every chapter with a subject of its own: the PDF's contents become the site's menu, and each chapter gets its own page and address. Short sections that belong together share a page. Ask in the chat for a different split, or for everything on one long page.
The text of a table comes across, and the agent can set it as a table that fits a narrow screen. For photos and charts, attach the original picture files in the chat (PNG or JPG, up to 5 MB each) when the quality matters, and check every number in the draft before you publish.
Yes, if you ask for it. Say in the chat that you want the file kept as a download, and the agent adds a labelled link to it, usually in the footer. People who want to print it or keep a copy get the original file.
Nothing to start. Drop in the file, sign in or create a free account, and publish the result on a free macaly.app address with the Macaly badge. Your own domain needs a paid plan, and the pricing page lists what each plan costs.
Yes, on a paid plan. Publishing first puts the site on a free macaly.app address, and every update goes live at that same address. To put your own name in it, connect a domain you already own or buy one in Macaly, and the secure connection is set up for you.
You can, and for something people print, that works. On a phone it works badly: people get a whole A4 page to pinch and drag around. A website fits the words to the screen the moment it opens, and you can have both, the site to read and the PDF to download.
The agent is told to use only what you give it and to ask you for anything missing. Read the draft anyway, and check names, dates, prices and any legal text before the site goes live.
