Pricing FAQ

Every plan runs the same agent with the same skills, and hosting, a database and sign-in come with all of them. What changes is capacity. Free keeps one app live on a Macaly domain with 1M credits a month and 100 actions through ChatGPT or Claude. Starter adds your own domain and no limit on those actions. Pro goes to five published apps, 10M credits and GitHub, and Max to fifteen apps, 30M credits and 30 GB of room. The team plans give every client their own workspace, 3 to 25 members and 40M to 160M credits a month. You can start on Free without a card and change plan whenever you like.
A published app is a project that is live, either on its Macaly address or on your own domain. Free and Starter keep one live at a time, Pro five and Max fifteen. Drafts and previews don't count, and republishing the same app doesn't take another slot. To put a different project live, unpublish the current one first.
It is the work the agent does when you drive it from outside Macaly, through Macaly Cloud. Creating or duplicating an app, writing, editing or deleting files, running commands, uploading files, publishing and connecting a domain all count. Reading files, logs and previews is free. Free includes 100 of those actions per workspace each calendar month and the count resets on the 1st (UTC). Starter and up have no monthly limit. The actions are not billed one by one, but the work itself still spends credits.
Every workspace has one shared allowance. It is 1 GB on Free, 5 GB on Starter, 10 GB on Pro and 30 GB on Max, and it covers the files you and your apps keep in Macaly, such as chat uploads and project assets. It is the space in use right now rather than a monthly amount, so deleting files frees it up again. Database records count separately as database usage. When you reach the limit, new uploads are refused until you delete something or move up a plan. What is already there stays available and your published apps keep running.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of 1 GB on Free, 5 GB on Starter, 10 GB on Pro and 30 GB on Max. Macaly doesn't meter traffic against it yet, and there is no charge for going over.
No. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of your billing period, not the calendar month. One-time top-ups are different: they last 60 days from the day you buy them.
Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately. You are charged the full amount, you get the full credits and your billing period starts over. A downgrade, or a switch to Free, takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Starter fits a workspace with one published app and 5 GB of files. If a bigger workspace is over that when the switch is due, the switch is cancelled and the plan renews.
On Starter, Pro or Max you can buy a one-time top-up or move up a plan. On Free you need a paid plan to keep the agent working. Nothing is lost either way. Your projects stay up and your work is untouched.
Yes, anytime. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. After that the workspace switches to Free and any credits left expire. Apps on your own domain go offline when that happens, so move the domain or unpublish before you cancel. Anything on a Macaly address stays up, and nothing is deleted.
